ABERNETHY AND AVIEMORE ANGLING ASSOCIATION FISHING PERMITS
Half Price visitor permits are available until 31st March
Day and weekly fishing permits for salmon and sea trout fishing on the Abernethy and Aviemore beats of the River Spey are readily available to visiting anglers from local outlets throughout the season as follows:
Abernethy Beat
Day permit – £45
Weekly Permit – £165
From Boat of Garten Post Office
Aviemore Beat
Day Permit – £30
Weekly Permit – £95
From Cairngorm Mountain Sports and Rothiemurchus Fishery, Aviemore.
Note: Day permits are issued for a 24 hour period starting from a specified time on issue of the permit. For example, a permit starting at 12 noon will run until 12 noon the following day (excluding Sundays). This allows a full night’s sea trout fishing without interruption, plus, if stamina permits, daytime fishing for the remainder of the twenty four hour period.
River Watchers are authorised to check tickets. Tickets must be carried at all times whilst fishing.
